Heat wave

Ten days ago I would wake up in the morning and look out my balcony and see mist shrouding the hillside below. It hovered up to my house, to the trees and to my backyard. The temperature was cool much like late winter or early spring. Summer seemed to have moved farther away from my calendar. But days later it turned nasty...wicked...wickedly hot.

Ninety degrees Fahrenheit was the temperature recorded in my patio 2 days ago. Yesterday, Friday, it was at 100F degrees! I was dripping wet with sweat when outdoors. So, I stay in the safety of a cool air-conditioned room to avoid any heat stroke.

Global warming? Hmm...Al Gore must be saying, "I told you so."

we did have three days in succession of hot days, but our natural air conditioning returned and still lingers up to now so we're on a seasonably pleasant low 70s with cool breeze.

make some halo halo.

Do you think it's gonna get even hotter? I remember being in California in 2007 and it went up to 117!

The thermometer looks like a clock :)

What are your plans for the weekend?

Thanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and leaving your comment. Come visit again tomorrow!

Yes, we have crazy weather, and my cats are complaining too. Its been also a struggle given her medication thru the dropper, we have to wrestle and I have all scratches, black and blue. Its gets too weary for me. I hope to be back blogging next week and show some photos that I took two weeks ago, the hidden gems of LA.

Thanks for stopping by, it is a pleasure. Hindi pa ako nakabili ng mangoes, I am still enjoying the summer fruits. Take care and stay cool.

It's supposed to be rainy season here but we still experience the freaky heat once in a while.

Better stay in your aircond room!

It's a pity that people hates to be told. We have that kind of weather momentum too and exceedingly wicked that they cause bushfire.

I liken my X to the weather. Mood changes without prior notice. lol

Sorry Mari.
